An international airport in Denmark, Aalborg Airport has been closed due to drones in its airspace.
The local police in Denmark announced this early this Thursday, saying this is coming two days after a similar occurrence at the country’s main Copenhagen airport where the drones halted flights for four hours.
Denmark says the incident at Copenhagen airport was the most serious attack yet on its critical infrastructure and linked it to a series of suspected Russian drone incursions and other disruptions across Europe.
However, the Danish police say they could not specify the type of drones in Aalborg airport and whether they were the same as the ones flying over Copenhagen airport on Monday.
