The Akwa Ibom State Police Command says it has rescued 10 pregnant women from a baby factory operated by a 56-year-old suspect, Eunice Eze.
The Commissioner of Police in that state, Waheed Ayilara said this to newsmen at the Police Headquarters, Ikot Akpanabia in Uyo this Tuesday.
Ayilara says the suspect, who specialises in running a baby factory at World Bank estate in Owerri was arrested on 15th of July through actionable intelligence.
Furthermore, the commissioner says the police also arrested a wanted kidnapper in the state, who has been responsible for the kidnapping and killing of several persons.
The police recovered two AK-47 Rifles, two G3 Rifles, one double-barrel Rifle, five magazines and seven live ammunition, at a private mortuary, being used as the armoury by the kidnapper.
