The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has expressed satisfaction with the Second Niger Bridge project, as the contractor, Julius Berger, formally handed over the multi-billion naira project to the Federal Government.

The handing over to place at a brief ceremony at the toll area of the bridge on Sunday, where Umahi confirmed that the Julius Berger has carried out repairs on the vandalized portions

Umahi says the bridge is open to concession to any private company who would be ready to complete all the ancillary roads, collect tolls and recoup investments.
