Atiku Arrives Akwa Ibom, As He Begins Presidential Campaign

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, has arrived Uyo, Akwa Ibom state capital ahead of the official commencement of his presidential campaign today.
Atiku was reportedly received by the chairman of the presidential campaign council, Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom.
Others present for the commencement of the campaign were his running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa, the campaign Director-General, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, and many other party chieftains.
