The Anambra State Road Traffic Management Agency (ARTMA) has launched an operation called Operation SEE IT, VIDEO IT & EARN, to strengthen the enforcement of traffic laws and curb the dangerous practice of driving against traffic on Anambra State dual carriageways.

ARTMA announced this on social media on Sunday, saying under the initiative, the public is encouraged to assist the Agency by recording clear videos of motorists driving against traffic. The video must clearly capture the offending vehicle and its registration number.

ARTMA says the video should be sent via WhatsApp to 08063159282 and upon verification leading to the impoundment of the offending vehicle, the sender of the video will earn a minimum reward of ₦20,000.

ARTMA assured that the identities of all whistleblowers will be kept strictly confidential.
