Arsenal defender, Takehiro Tomiyasu, has signed a new two-year contract with the clubside.

The 25-year-old Japan international, whose current deal was due to expire in 2025, has now signed until 2026, with the option of a further year.

Tomiyasu joined the Gunners from Bologna in 2021 and has since played 73 games in all competitions for the Gunners.

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, says he has been an integral part of the squad since joining the side.
