According to his brother, shedrack, Chukwumerem is a 30 year old father of 2 who was supposed to travel to the United Kingdom before he was shot three times in the chest at the World Bank junction roundabout in Owerri, while withdrawing money from a Point Of Sale operator. 

 

The spokesperson for the police in the state, Henry Okoye, has assured that although the family has requested for the police to allow them bury their son, the police will continue with their investigation and once the suspects are arrested, they would be arraigned for murder.
