The National Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Victor Oye, has called on all party members in Nigeria and Diaspora to pray fervently for the Anambra State House of Assembly for God’s mercy to stem the hand of death that has struck the House killing two of its members in a space of three months.

Oye has urged all members to embark on a three-day fast and prayer for peace, growth and development in the House and in the party ahead of the 2023 elections.

Recall that the House Majority Leader, Nnamdi Okafor, died at a legislative retreat in South Africa on Wednesday.

The lawmaker slumped and died in a Hotel in Sandton City, Johannesburg, South Africa, and was confirmed dead hours later.

Before his death, Okafor, popularly called Akajiugo Awka, represented the Awka South Constituency 1 in the state Assembly.
