APGA Court Orders Njoku’s Arrest For Alleged Forgery

A Federal Capital Territory High Court sitting in Bwari, has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Edozie Njoku for allegedly forging a Supreme Court judgment to declare himself the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance.

The presiding judge, Justice Mohammed Madugu, in a short ruling held that Njoku and his co-accused, Chukwuemeka Nwoga who is the factional National Youth Leader of APGA’s absence from court was deliberate and intentional.

They were also accused of forging the letterhead of a retired Supreme Court judge, Justice Mary Odili.

Following the filing of 14 counts against them by the Inspector General of Police, the court had scheduled Monday, November 21, for their arraignment.

But when the case was mentioned, the prosecution counsel, Chief Superintendent of Police Rimamsonte Ezekiel, informed the court that the defendants were duly served but failed to show up in court.
