The Anambra State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has arrested three suspects for the vandalism of government properties and building structures on government land.

The Head of Media and Tactical Operations of the Command Okadigbo Edwin, said this to newsmen this Tuesday. He said the suspects were apprehended on Monday, 14th September 2026, by operatives of the Corps in collaboration with Agunechemba Security Outfit in Onitsha LGA while vandalizing government property in Onitsha South LGA.

The arrested suspects include Oseloka Anyaorah of Onitsha Umuasi, who claimed to be the Chairman of Ogbo Family, alongside John Nwobodo and Ifeanyi Nwancho, both of whom claimed to be workers of Anyaorah at the site.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the suspects conspired to damage and remove parts of government infrastructure belonging to Onitsha South, however the vandalised items have been recovered and are now in the custody of the NSCDC.
