The Anambra Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nicholas Ukachukwu, has promised a cash reward of ₦2 million to any of the 326 wards in the state with the highest number of registered voters.
Ukachukwu made the promise at Ogidi, during his ongoing “thank you” tour to members of the APC for choosing him as candidate, as he also urged all eligible voters to participate in the ongoing CVR for this year’s poll.
Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, announced the commencement of the Continuous Voters Registration, CVR, exercise, to allow eligible voters obtain voter cards before the July 17, 2025 deadline, while those seeking to replace lost voter cards can now validate them online.
His running mate, Senator Uche Ekwunife, also called on voters to use their votes to unseat the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, administration led by Chukwuma Soludo, boasting that APC would take over power come November 8, 2025.
