The Imo State Police Command has arrested some officers of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, for allegedly harassing and extorting civilians in the state using point of sale, POS, machines. 
 
 
The Police spokesman in Imo, Henry Okoye, said this on Tuesday in Owerri, saying 3 officers from the NDLEA and 2 from the NSCDC, were arrested for hiding under the umbrella of Operation Search and Flush in Imo, to extort unsuspecting civilians.
 
 
Okoye assured the public that action would be expedited to conclude the investigation and bring the suspects to justice.
