The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, has assured Nigerian workers that the National Assembly and the executive arm of government will work collaboratively to give them a living wage and better working conditions.

Akpabio said this on Wednesday while commemorating the 2024 Workers’ Day celebration, expressing his happiness to be associated with Nigerian workers in the last more than 25 years.

Akpabio extolled the sterling qualities that make Nigerian workers stand out including patriotism, hard work, resilience, and dedication to duty.

The Senate President also declared that no Nigerian worker will again be allowed to work under inhumane conditions as they will do everything to give them the best.
