Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has again rejected the prospect of a ceasefire in Gaza.
There were reports that talks were underway for the release of a dozen hostages held by the Hamas terrorist group, in return for a three-day ceasefire in Gaza.
Reports also say the ceasefire negotiations were to enable Egypt an extended period of time to deliver humanitarian aid and let Hamas release the 12 hostages.
However, Netanyahu has clarified saying there will be no ceasefire without the release of Israel’s hostages.
