The Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, has demanded an explanation from the Presidency over the continued absence of President Bola Tinubu from Nigeria.

The ADC Director of Media and Publicity, Kola Ologbondiyan, spoke on behalf of the council saying the Presidency owes Nigerians a clear and transparent explanation, as his absence and exercise of executive authority are matters of public interest.

Ologbondiyan says the President’s continued absence, without sufficient public information on his whereabouts or the circumstances surrounding the extension of his stay abroad, has inevitably generated questions and public concern.

Recall that Tinubu departed Nigeria for London, United Kingdom, on August 30 and is yet to return to the country even though his vacation was scheduled to end on September 21.
