‎Peter Obi, Presidential Candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), has vowed to take on those who manipulate elections, declaring that his camp will “rig those who rig” the 2027 polls.

‎Obi made the declaration on Wednesday at an NDC town hall meeting in Nasarawa State, where he outlined his plans to tackle electoral malpractice and ensure accountability if elected president.

‎The former Anambra State governor said his administration would enforce the rule of law without discrimination, stressing that no individual would be above the law, regardless of position or status.

‎Obi also pledged to strengthen Nigeria’s electoral system to prevent manipulation and ensure that anyone who interfered with the electoral process faced the consequences.

‎He warned that political officeholders and electoral officials who manipulated election results under his administration would face prosecution and imprisonment.
