Tinubu Declares 3-day Mourning as 32 Die in Military Plane Crash

President Bola Tinubu has mourned the death of 32 passengers onboard the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) ATR-42 Jet that crashed near a naval base in Ondo State, instructing that a probe into the crash should be conducted, however, ordering a three-day national mourning period for the deceased.

Also, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has announced his ministry’s total cooperation and assistance in the ongoing search and rescue efforts of the crashed Military aircraft in Ondo State.

similarly, the governor of Ondo State,Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has directed the immediate mobilisation of state emergency and health agencies to support the ongoing search and rescue operation.

Recall, A military Jet on monday crashed in Igbokoda, headquarters of Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State.
