Norway manager Stale Solbakken has issued a warning regarding the physical state of striker Erling Haaland, following a sequence of matches for both club and country.

Solbakken pointed to the demands placed on haarland, whose off-season was shortened during Norway’s UEFA Nations League encounter against Portugal, where Haaland was withdrawn in the 67th minute after struggling to influence the game.

Meanwhile, Manchester City’s medical and coaching staff will be monitoring haarland closely as he returns from international duty.
