Nine Killed as Russia Launches Fresh Strikes on Kyiv

Rescuers in Ukrainian Capital, Kyiv are reportedly trying to find people trapped under the rubble of partly demolished apartment blocks, after at least nine were killed in Russia’s second round of strikes in a week.
Kyiv’s top military administrator Timur Tkachenko said 46 people were injured, with at least five of them being children.
The strikes come on the eve of the Nato summit in Turkey, where Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is expected to hold talks with US President Donald Trump.
Hours before the latest strikes, Zelensky warned that Moscow was preparing a second “massive strike” on Kyiv following its attacks last Thursday that killed 30 people.
