The African Democratic Congress, ADC, in Ogun State has dismissed the allegations of financial impropriety levelled against its chairman, Olufemi Soluade.
The Director General of the Directorate of Media, Communications and Publicity of the party, Adesina Olanrewaju, said this on Wednesday at a briefing held at the party secretariat, Abeokuta.
Olanrewaju said this in response to a petition submitted to the national leadership of the party, accusing Soluade of financial mismanagement over the funds paid for the nomination forms ahead of the 2027 elections.
Olanrewaju said the party had conducted its findings on the allegations in the petition and found no evidence to support the claims that the state chairman diverted funds meant for the purchase of nomination forms by the aspirants.
