The Federal Government has demanded a thorough and impartial investigation into the deaths of two Nigerians in South Africa.
Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kimiebi Ebienfa, said this to newsmen on monday in Abuja after a closed-door meeting between Nigeria and South Africa’s diplomatic representatives.
The meeting held between the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Dunoma Ahmed, and the South African Acting High Commissioner to Nigeria, Lesoli Machele, among other diplomats.
Ebienfa says that “The government of Nigeria expressed strong concern over reported threats against foreign nationals in South Africa and emphasised the need for proactive measures to prevent incitement, intimidation, or violence,’’
