The women team of European champions Arsenal have won the first leg of their Women’s Champions League semi-final after defeating Lyon 2-1.
An own goal from Lyon player, Ingrid Engen and a goal from Arsenal player, Olivia Smith made up the 2 goals from Arsenal, while Jule Brand scored Lyon’s only goal.
The second leg takes place in Lyon next weekend.
Meanwhile, Chelsea also defeated Leeds United, 1-0, in the FA Cup Semi-final that took place on Sunday, at Wembley stadium.
