The Anambra State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has distributed advanced tactical and tech-driven assets to its officers to bolster security across the state.
During the unveiling ceremony held in Awka on Wednesday, Commandant Maku Olatunde said the new equipment is designed to strengthen intelligence gathering and improve frontline performance.
The State Commandant praised the Commandant General, Ahmed Audi, for providing the modern devices, saying the upgrade is timely given the evolving security challenges in the region.
The distributed items include high-tech tools such as Mavic 3E DJI drones, solar-powered field kits, and mini tablets, alongside essential gear like helmets and stun guns.
Commandant Maku reaffirmed the Command’s dedication to protecting critical national infrastructure and urged personnel to use the new assets to ensure the safety of all Anambra residents.
