The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and a National Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party, Nyesom Wike, has described the party’s national convention as one of “inclusiveness, unity and renewal,” saying that the party has overcome its internal crisis.
Wike said this on Sunday as he addressed party faithful saying that they have overcome the leadership crisis that once threatened its survival.
Wike also said the struggle helped restore internal democracy within the party.
He commended party members for their resilience during the period of turmoil and also praised grassroots supporters across the country for remaining loyal despite defections by some political elites.
