The Kuwait Government has summoned the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Kuwait, Mohammad Toutonji, for the third time since the beginning of the Iranian aggression on Kuwait.
Recall that on Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th March 2026 Kuwait came under heavy attack by Iran, which affected fuel tanks at Kuwait International Airport and Kuwait says it constitutes a serious violation of international humanitarian law, as the airport is considered civilian infrastructure.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, represented by the Acting Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Aziz Rahim Al-Dihani, says a formal protest note has been delivered to Mohammad Toutonji regarding the continued assaults
Our Correspondent Emmanuel Nnaji reports that Al-Dihani reiterated Kuwait’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the aggression, emphasizing that it represents a blatant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and airspace.
