We have news that a suspected kidnapper has died and another injured after a gun duel with operatives of the Issele-Uku Police Division led by Aderemi Badiru, alongside the military, local vigilante groups, and hunters.
The Police also rescued three kidnap victims and arrested a 22-year old suspect, Ahmadu Hassan, during a search-and-rescue operation, recovering from him one AK-47 rifle loaded with four rounds of live ammunition.
The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, confirmed the development
“Meanwhile, the injured suspect is currently receiving treatment under police custody, and efforts are ongoing to track down and arrest other fleeing members of the syndicate as investigations progress.”
