Aggrieved Lagos residents have staged a protest against what they describe as the “epileptic” electricity supply across the state.
Reports say the group of protesters, primarily young Nigerians, are currently marching through the Fadeyi area of Lagos.
They are carrying placards and chanting, as they express their frustration over what they describe as a collapse of the power sector that is destroying local businesses.
This protest follows a similar protest held on Tuesday, by business owners in Delta State as well as a protest in Osun state on Sunday, against exorbitant bills and the “epileptic” nature of the power supply in the country.
