Iran Rejects US Claims On Missile Programme As ‘Big Lies’

Iran has rejected U.S. claims about its missile programme, describing them as “big lies.”

In his recent State of the Union address, US President Donald Trump alleged that Iran is developing ballistic missiles capable of potentially reaching the United States, threatening Europe and U.S. forces abroad.

He also warned that Washington could consider military action if Iran refuses strict limits on its programmes.

However, in response, Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Esmaeil Baqaei, strongly denied the allegations, saying they are part of a disinformation campaign.

He maintained that Iran’s nuclear activities are peaceful and that it does not have the capability to strike the U.S. mainland.
