Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has expressed optimism that the recent intervention by President Bola Tinubu in the Rivers State political crisis would be his last with the feuding parties.
Wike said this on tuesday during an extensive assessment of the ongoing N5 Road, slated for inauguration by the president to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the FCT this year.
He says that Tinubu has been kind to the people of Rivers State, urging the governor of rivers state, Siminalayi Fubara, and members of the state House of Assembly to respect the terms of the peace brokered by the president at the State House, Abuja.
Wike also says that this is the final time that Rivers people will hear of this kind of discord.
