The Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa, has said that no fewer than 250,000 young Nigerians have been enrolled in the Federal government’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training programme across the country.
Alausa, said this on Thursday, at his induction as a member of the Epe Club held in the Alausa area of Lagos State.
The minister said that the enrolment signifies the President Bola Tinubu’s administration’s commitment to improving the education sector and that skill acquisition is an important factor in the growth of any nation.
The Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Obafemi Hamzat, at the event, further said that Nigeria has continued to progress under Tinubu’s administration, while urging the citizens to ignore those who are saying otherwise.
