Following the conclusion of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), the Super Eagles of Nigeria are scheduled to arrive in the country this Tuesday.
Recall that the Super Eagles secured the bronze medal after defeating Egypt 4–2 on penalties in the third-place playoff, marking the nation’s ninth third-place finish in AFCON history.
Reports say the Nigerian delegation will land in Abuja, however, a significant number of players have already departed Morocco to rejoin their respective clubs in Europe.
Among those who have returned to club duty are Victor Osimhen, Paul Onuachu, team captain Wilfred Ndidi, Akor Adams, Chidera Ejuke, and several others.
