President Bola Tinubu has expressed grief over the passing of renowned businessman and Kano-based trade union leader, Bature Abdulaziz, who died over the weekend.
According to The Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described Abdulaziz’s death as a loss felt across many parts of Nigeria in view of his influence on commerce.
The president acknowledged that The late Abdulaziz, who was the National President of the Harmonised Traders Association of Nigeria and held leadership positions in other commerce-related unions, supported him during the 2023 campaigns and his persistent advocacy for national unity and patriotism.
Tinubu sympathised with the Kano business community, the people of the state, and the state government over the loss, urging them to take solace in the impact the late businessman had on his community.
