Former governor of Ekiti State and chieftain of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, Ayodele Fayose, has urged the Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, to emulate Biodun Oyebanji, who he claims once begged him for support.

He said this this Tuesday, urging Fubara to be humble to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, who gave him the platform.

Fayose also made reference to the current governor of Ekiti state, who he claimed that despite their differing political parties, came to him for aid and support.

He warned Governor Fubara against his fight with Wike, saying that the price of peace was cheaper than the consequences of war.

He made this remark after the Rivers State House of Assembly initiated the process to impeach Fubara for misappropriation.
