The Lagos State Government has reiterated the need for collective action to ensure the safety of passengers on the state’s waterways.
The Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, made the call on Tuesday during a visit to the Lagos State Waterways Authority, where he met with management and staff to review operational priorities and service delivery.
During the visit, Osiyemi urged staff to work as a unified team, promote mutual respect and remain committed to professionalism and innovation in water transport operations.
He also emphasised that collective effort and strategic thinking are essential to strengthening water transport operations in the state.
