Nigeria’s star striker, Victor Osimhen, says he is ready to lead Galatasaray to glory in the UEFA Champions League, declaring it’s time to make a statement on Europe’s biggest stage.
Recall that after impressive spells at Lille and Napoli, Osimhen joined Galatasaray permanently this summer following a successful loan spell.
In an interview with newsmen, Osimhen reflected on his humble beginnings in Olusosun, Lagos, saying the experience taught him resilience which he says is his driving force to leading his club to new heights.
Osimhen believes Galatasaray’s resurgence will restore pride to Turkish football and prove the club’s strength on the continental stage.
