The Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has said that her invitation to Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, and other lawmakers for the commissioning of projects in Kogi state, aligns with legislative protocol.

Akpoti-Uduaghan said to Newsmen this Friday that she followed the proper parliamentary channel by sending her invitation through the presiding officer, in line with Senate procedure, while requesting that the letter be officially read on the floor.

Natasha had on Thursday extended the invitation to Akpabio and her colleagues to attend the project commissioning in her constituency, barely two months after she was reinstated from suspension.

She says her decision demonstrated a commitment to due process and respect for institutional norms, and that the celebration of her achievements and project inaugurations was centered on public service rather than personal recognition.
