The Osun State Government has granted approval for the state’s female football team, Osun Babes, to participate in the Nigeria Women Premier League, NWPL, for the 2025/2026 season.
The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Football Matters, Kehinde Johnson said this to newsmen this Friday in Osogbo.
Johnson says that the decision followed the state government’s efforts to promote sports development and enhance the participation of women in competitive football.
