The Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, has visited Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing in Nnewi, Anambra State, to discuss ways of partnering on youth empowerment and skill development.
 
 
The Director of Information & Public Relations at the ministry, Omolara Esan, announced the visit on X this Tuesday saying Olawande was accompanied by the Permanent Secretary, Olubunmi Olusanya, and other officials of the Ministry and they were received by the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Innoson Group, Innocent Chukwuma.
 
Olawande praised Innoson during the visit saying his pioneering role in local innovation and job creation, has created opportunities for youth empowerment.
 
 
Olawande also interacted with 2 young women benefiting from Innoson’s technical training and apprenticeship programmes, saying their experiences exemplify the transformative power of skill acquisition and enterprise.
 
 
Furthermore, the Minister met with the Anambra State Commissioner for Youth Development, Patrick Agha Mba, to explore federal–state collaboration on the “1 Youth, 2 Skills” campaign.
