South Africa have been eliminated from the ongoing CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) after a 3-3 draw with Uganda in their final Group C fixture on Monday.
Uganda’s earned the top spot in Group C with seven points from four matches, while Algeria finished second with six points and a goal difference over South Africa.
Guinea also ended the group stage in fourth place with four points, and Niger Republic finished bottom with two points.
The tournament continues this Tuesday as Nigeria take on Congo, while Sudan battle Senegal.
