The Obi of Onitsha, Nnaemeka Achebe, has said that Nigeria is suffering from institutional neglect, policy somersaults, and poor implementation, despite the government’s efforts.

Achebe said this at the 27th convocation of the Nigerian Academy of Letters (NAL)

He says that these challenges hinder the nation’s ability to develop necessary human capacity, while other African countries are advancing with digital technology.

Also, NAL President, Sola Akinrinade, urged the federal government to synergize for national development, highlighting the importance of humanities in guiding the digital revolution and promoting societal wellbeing.
