The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has refuted claims that the party is working in the interest of the country’s northern region.
ADC spokesman Bolaji Abdullahi, who spoke with newsmen, described the insinuations as unfounded, saying that ADC, is neither a party of the North nor of the South saying that it’s a party that is designed to develop and build the future that Nigeria desires,”
He also accused the government of trying to cause divisions in the party, saying that the ADC is aware of and working to counter the moves.
It will be recalled that a former presidential candidate of the ADC, Dumebi Kachikwu, accused the party of pushing a northern agenda.
