Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, has criticized President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms, saying that the administration’s policies” have decimated Nigeria’s middle class and worsened living conditions for millions of citizens.
Falana faulted the government’s privatization drive, saying it contradicts efforts to tackle income inequality.
He says that the government must reorder its priorities and provide targeted support for vulnerable Nigerians, especially those in rural areas.
Falana also stressed the need for urgent implementation and legal backing of social welfare programs to alleviate widespread suffering.
