The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, says it is unrealistic to expect his administration to revamp every sector within just two years.
Wike said this during a media parley in Abuja this Monday, where he addressed concerns around infrastructural gaps, education, healthcare, and transport.
He referenced the ongoing rehabilitation of general hospitals across the FCT, saying it would be impossible to provide fully equipped hospitals in all districts within a two-year period.
He said while residents understandably want to see infrastructure in their communities, there is often less attention paid to the quality and long-term sustainability of such projects.
Wike urged Nigerians to adopt a more realistic view of government timelines and priorities.
