A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Ebonyi State, Silas Onu, has resigned his membership of the party and joined the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
Silas made this known in a letter he addressed to the Chairman of PDP in Obiozara Ward, in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
Recall that Silas was the former Chairman of the PDP in that State and the Ebonyi South Senatorial Candidate of the PDP in February 2025 Bye.
He said his decision to leave the party didn’t come easily but due to some irreconcilable difference especially the roll being played by few seating Governors of PDP.
Our Correspondent in Ebonyi State Emmanuel Nnaji reports that Silas said he will be pursuing his political aspiration from a different and more stable platform.
