A Special Adviser to the Kebbi State Governor, Nasiru DanUmma, popularly known as Katukan Kabi, has resigned his appointment and officially defected from the All Progressives Congress, APC, to the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
DanUmma conveyed his resignation in a letter this Monday, 7th July 2025, and addressed to the APC Ward Chairman of Kokani South Ward in Argungu Local Government Area.
He explained that the decision was made in good faith, as he expressed hopes that his move benefits all parties involved.
Dan Umma’s defection comes amid growing political realignment in Kebbi State, as parties begin early preparations for the 2027 general elections.
