Chairman of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, in Ibadan North Local Government Area of Oyo State, Seun Adelore, has resigned from his position, due to alleged imposition and intimidation.
Adelore says his resignation takes effect from this Monday, 7th July, 2025.
Adelore, in the resignation letter addressed to the Oyo State PDP Chairman, cited what he described as deep-seated injustice within the party.
His resignation comes a few weeks before the bye-election to fill the vacant position for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency seat.
Recall that the last occupant of the seat, Musliudeen Akinremi, who was serving his second term in office under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), died last year.
