Tottenham Hotspur has emerged winners of the Europa League, lifting their first cup title in 17 years, after defeating Manchester United 1-0 on Wednesday in Bilbao, Spain.
Reports say this is the club’s first trophy since 2008 and first continental silverware since the 1983-84 season.
Spurs midfielder Brennan Johnson, scored the winning goal late in the second half.
By winning the competition, Tottenham has now qualified for the next season of the Champions League.
