The President of France, Emmanuel Macron has condemned the killing of a Muslim worshipper at a mosque in southern France.
Recall that an attack occurred last Friday in a village in France, and the victim, a young Malian man in his twenties, was fatally stabbed by the attacker, who then filmed the assault on a mobile phone while shouting insults at Islam.
The attacker, who is reportedly still on the run, stabbed the victim up to 50 times.
Macron condemned this on X insisting that there is no place for racism or hatred in the country, as he expressed his support for France’s Muslim community, while also assuring that the suspect will be found and prosecuted.
