One of the freed victims of the Kaduna-Abuja train attack, professor Mustapha Umar imam says that a 90-year-old woman and a one-year-old child are the oldest and youngest hostages in  captive of the terrorists that abducted passengers on march 28, 2022.

Imam, a medical doctor at the Usman Dan Fodio University Teaching Hospital (UDUS), Sokoto, who was released yesterday, also said that it was worrisome that the government did not play any role in his release which worries him for those still in captivity, as the fate of the people still in there was critical.

He also said that a lot of people fell ill and there was a need for medical supplies which never came on time.

He however is not sure if a ransom was paid by his family or not.
