Ondo State Police Command has said all the children who were allegedly kept in an underground apartment of a church, have been released to their respective parents.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Funmilayo Odunlami, stated this on Sunday saying all the victims have been released to their parents after their parade at the state police headquarters, Akure, and the pastor of the church, David Anifowose, and his assistant, Peter Josiah, have been arrested for alleged kidnapping.

Repots have it than more than 77 kids had abandoned their homes and parents for a church, the Whole Bible Deliverance Church, in the Valentino Area of Ondo Town in Ondo State, claiming their parents were not teaching them the way of God.
